- Pro starts with a 7-day free trial. Cancel before day 7 and you pay nothing.
- Cancel anytime, in Settings, under Billing. You are not charged again, and Pro stays on until the end of the period you paid for.
- Payments are not refunded, except where the law requires it.
- Everything you saved stays yours after Pro ends.
How the free trial works
- You start the trial
Choose monthly or yearly, and enter your card on Stripe’s checkout page. Nothing is charged, and all of Pro opens straight away.
- We remind you
Three days before the trial ends, we email you the date it ends and what the first payment will be.
- The trial ends
On day 7, the first payment for your plan is taken, and Pro renews every month or year after that until you cancel. If you canceled before then, nothing is taken and Pro ends with the trial.
Each account gets one free trial. A later subscription on the same account starts with its first payment.
How to cancel
- Sign in, open Settings, and choose Billing.
- Choose Cancel subscription. Stripe’s billing page opens at its cancel step.
- Confirm. Billing then shows the date Pro ends.
Changed your mind before that date? Billing lets you resume the subscription, and nothing else changes. If you cannot sign in, write to [email protected] from the address on your account and we will cancel it for you.
What happens when you cancel
- No more payments are taken.
- Pro stays on until the end of the trial, or of the month or year you have paid for.
- Then your account goes back to free, and what Pro opened locks again.
- Your own work stays yours: your runs, transcripts, scores and notes stay readable, and you can download them in Settings, under Your data.
- Deleting your account is different: it cancels the subscription at once and ends Pro straight away, with no refund for the rest of the period.
Refunds
We do not refund payments. That covers the rest of a month or year after you cancel, time you did not use, and a renewal you meant to cancel. We know that is firm, so we made the trial free: you can try every part of Pro for 7 days and cancel before day 7 without paying anything, and the reminder email comes before the first payment does.
Where the law gives you a right to a refund, we honor it. Some countries give consumers the right to cancel a new purchase within a set time; if that applies to you, write to [email protected] from the address on your account.
If a charge looks wrong, such as two payments for the same period, write to us and we will look into it with you.
Switching plans
You do not need to cancel to change how you pay. In Billing, a switch to yearly starts at once and charges the difference; a switch to monthly starts when the year you paid for ends. During the free trial, a switch keeps the trial and changes what the first payment will be.
